Pool decks wear out faster

Chlorinated splash, wet feet and full sun make pool decks the hardest-working timber in Singapore. Typical problems are grey and splintered boards, raised nail heads, slippery algae near the pool edge and rotten joists where water drains slowly.

For landed homes

We inspect the deck, replace failed boards and joists, sand and apply an oil suited to wet areas. Most home pool decks are done in 2–4 days.

For condo MCSTs and managing agents

We provide a written condition report with photos, a phased schedule so only part of the pool deck is closed at a time, and itemised quotations suitable for comparison. Work can be planned around residents' peak hours.

  • Board-level replacement instead of full re-decking
  • Anti-slip finish on wet zones
  • Annual maintenance plans to stretch the deck's life

How it works

Our process

  1. Send photos

WhatsApp 3–5 photos of the deck, one close-up of the worst area and the rough size.

  2. Get a fixed quote

We reply with a quote, usually the same day, and visit first if the job needs it.

  3. Repair day

Most balcony jobs take 1–2 days. We mask walls, glass and railings and vacuum the dust as we sand.

  4. Cure & handover

Oil needs 24–48 hours before heavy use. You get care notes for your timber or composite.

Pool deck repair: FAQ

Can you repair our condo pool deck without closing the pool?

We split the work into zones so only one section is closed at a time. Exact phasing depends on the deck layout and MCST rules.

How do you make a pool deck less slippery?

Removing algae, sanding back the smooth grey layer and using an oil with anti-slip additive near the pool edge all help.

Do you provide quotations for MCST tenders?

Yes. We give an itemised quotation and a photo condition report that managing agents can table at council meetings.

How do we get a quote for pool deck repair?

Send photos first. We then arrange a site visit to check the frame and give a written quote.

Not sure if your deck needs a repair or a full replacement?

Send us photos on WhatsApp. We will tell you honestly whether a sand-and-oil, a few new boards, or a full re-lay makes sense, and send you a quote.
