Deck sealing & maintenance plans.
A restored deck stays good-looking only if it is re-sealed on time. We schedule it, so you do not have to remember.
Why timely sealing saves money
A deck re-oiled every 6–12 months never needs a full sand. Skip two or three years and the timber goes grey, the surface fibres break down, and you are back to a full restoration, which is a much bigger job.
What a maintenance visit includes
- Wash and mould treatment
- Re-screw any lifted boards
- Light sand of worn traffic areas
- One coat of UV deck oil or sealer
- A short condition note with photos
Composite decks
Composite does not need oil, but a twice-yearly deep clean stops mould from staining the boards and lets us catch broken clips early.

We reply with a quote, usually the same day, and visit first if the job needs it.
Repair day
Most balcony jobs take 1–2 days. We mask walls, glass and railings and vacuum the dust as we sand.
Cure & handover
Oil needs 24–48 hours before heavy use. You get care notes for your timber or composite.
Deck sealing & maintenance: FAQ
How often should I seal my deck in Singapore?
Every 6–12 months for timber in full sun, 12–18 months for covered balconies.
Can I just oil the deck myself?
Yes, if the deck is clean and not yet grey. Use a penetrating exterior deck oil, not furniture oil or varnish. Once it has gone grey, it needs sanding first.
Do you remind me when maintenance is due?
Yes. On a maintenance plan we contact you when your next visit is due and book a slot.
Is deck sealing the same as varnishing?
No. Sealing with a penetrating oil soaks into the wood. Varnish forms a film on top that peels outdoors, so we do not recommend it for Singapore decks.
