"Low maintenance" is not "no maintenance"

Composite and WPC decks do not rot like timber, but in Singapore's humidity they still go wrong in predictable ways:

  • Mould and black spots in shaded areas, especially on older uncapped WPC boards.
  • Fading to a chalky grey on west-facing balconies.
  • Swelling and cupping where boards sit in standing water.
  • Broken clips and lifted boards after the boards expand and contract in the heat.
  • Cracked board ends where boards were butted too tightly.

How we fix composite decks

We start with a deep clean using a composite-safe cleaner and soft rotary brush, not a high-pressure jet, which can fray WPC fibres. Faded boards are treated with a composite restorer to bring colour back. Swollen or broken boards are replaced, and failed clips are swapped for stainless steel ones.

Should you sand composite?

Capped composite should never be sanded; it removes the protective shell. Older uncapped WPC can be lightly brushed to remove stains. We will tell you which type you have from a photo.

How it works

Our process

  1. Send photos

WhatsApp 3–5 photos of the deck, one close-up of the worst area and the rough size.

  2. Get a fixed quote

We reply with a quote, usually the same day, and visit first if the job needs it.

  3. Repair day

Most balcony jobs take 1–2 days. We mask walls, glass and railings and vacuum the dust as we sand.

  4. Cure & handover

Oil needs 24–48 hours before heavy use. You get care notes for your timber or composite.

Composite & WPC deck repair: FAQ

Can faded composite decking be restored?

Often, yes. A deep clean and composite restorer brings back much of the colour on WPC boards. Capped boards that have faded badly may need replacing.

How do you remove mould from a composite deck?

With a composite-safe cleaner, a soft rotary brush and a low-pressure rinse. High-pressure washing can damage WPC fibres and make mould come back faster.

Can you get matching boards for my composite deck?

We source boards from Singapore suppliers in the closest colour and profile. If your colour is discontinued, we can move boards from a hidden area to the visible spot.

Which composite brands do you repair?

We repair all common WPC and composite decking sold in Singapore, whatever the brand. Send a photo of the board profile and we will check.

Not sure if your deck needs a repair or a full replacement?

Send us photos on WhatsApp. We will tell you honestly whether a sand-and-oil, a few new boards, or a full re-lay makes sense, and send you a quote.
